Today is “Pay What You Want” day 4. The Wammart keeps coming. Jake, the guy who ordered the first piece, should be getting his package today or tomorrow. He told me he’s going to put “Swirl with Eyes” in a box frame with his paypal receipt. Good idea. He has instantly upped the value. He also sent me pictures and video of his car. Get this, he owns the Interceptor that Mel Gibson drove in The Road Warrior! Remember? “Last of the old V8s.” How cool is that? He told me he would give me a ride the next time I’m in the Dallas area. I hope he lets me drive. In other news I have been painting like a madman. There should be new paintings posted on the the artwork page of my website soon and of course, all Pay What You Want pieces get posted to my blog, which in turn gets posted to facebook. Today’s piece, “The Absurdity of Battling Over Health Care,” was inspired by a $10 donation from Karen in College Park, Ga. Way to go, Karen. There’s always room for more commissions. If you want to keep this experiment alive, you have to participate. Go to http://iamwammo.com for more info.
