Wammo says:
People forget how big a million is. When I remind myself that I have a friend who wrote a million selling hit, I feel proud and intimidated at the same time. This guy has been on Conan and Leno, yet he’s completely down to earth and unpretentious. Not too long ago, I went to Tony’s house for a song writing session and we wrote three songs in three hours. That’s how quickly his creative mind works. His gift for melody and hook makes him one of the most talented songwriters I know, and we’re lucky to have him call Austin home. This month’s show will let you get up close and personal with a man who wrote not one, but two Top 10 hits. When’s the last time you got to do that on a Sunday afternoon?

Wammo, I’ve been following you and the Spankers for about 10 years now {you may remember me as the guy who tends to get a little TOO close to the front of the stage for the Austin shows), and I’m intrigued about the Sunday Gravy shows. I can’t get enough of you & the Spankers (past & present), and I’m always ready to find out about more shows (music and/or spoken word). Please send me any updates. Also, I’m sorry about whatever asshole stole your CD’s that my friend Dave burned for y’all at the Cactus Cafe show. Fortunately, Christina ought to be able to provide you a copy of what she got. If not, Dave or I can provide you a copy of that 12/23 Momo’s show. Anyway, wishing you and your family the best, and looking forward to the next show. By the way, looking forward to another solo disc (hint, hint). Your die-hard fan, spreading the word as always, Robert Scott

If I had a nickel for every bald guy that asked me to lick his head… wait, that didn’t come out right.

So you remember me….I’m the old spankers guy with the dog that puts the money in the hat. You once asked me ….if i licked your head, would i get high?
and i asked if you were man enough to try.

I have a poem i would like you to hear sometime…its by far the best thing i have ever written…just the name……the garden of nede (eden spelled backwards).
I think this poem should make me as rich and famous as you!

Ya never know….good idea that home stuff…i would be interested in performing or attending.

    bald headed mike
